Made from #5 plastic, used Toof Brushes are great for upcycling and can be recycled after you’ve switched to a fresh brush. You can also send your brushes back for us to recycle for you. Toof works with TerraCycle to transform used toothbrushes into items like playgrounds, garden beds and park benches. And the best part is you can also send us your empty toothpaste tubes & caps, outer packaging and floss containers from ALL brands of oral care products!

To minimize the transportation carbon footprint for this program, we encourage you to ship your box when it’s full of used and empty items. UPS will not accept dripping packages, so please make sure your items are completely dry before packing. You can use any box of your choice, and when it’s ready to ship, send an email to info@toof.com to request a shipping label. Toof will email a label that you can print and attach to your box before dropping-off at any UPS Store or location.

Some things are meant to last like a wedding ring or car. But others, like toothbrushes, have a shorter life span. By Upcycling your Toof Brush, you not only extend its useful lifetime, you help to reduce waste and offset carbon emissions associated with their manufacture.

While it may sound a little crazy to save your old brushes, there are a myriad of creative and functional ways to reuse your worn out Toof Brush. But before you give it a new life, run it through the dishwasher and rinse in a simple bleach solution to disinfect.
